Stephen Simalchik serves as board chair of the International Cardistry Association. He brings a decade of experience in the U.S. nonprofit association industry and currently serves as Director of Engagement at the American College of Emergency Physicians.
Known as “fiddlingsteve” in the 2000s, Stephen was a daily visitor to Decknique, DanandDave.com, and theory11. After a hiatus from the community, he returned to bring his association experience to ICA’s governance and help establish a thriving nonprofit that supports the entire cardistry community.
He remains a devoted student of the Five Faces of Sybil. His studies continue on Instagram at @sybil.studies.

Adam Kerchman

Adam Kerchman is the founder and Executive Director of the International Cardistry Association, based in New York City. He works as a Director of Photography, specializing in commercials and movie promos.
Adam has been part of the cardistry community since the early 2000s, when he was on CheatersCheater and the Handlordz forum learning XCM, then Decknique and beyond. He built the ICA to give the art form a modern home: a free, open archive of its history, and a place for cardists everywhere to learn, connect, and be recognized. “One hub for cardistry, made for us, by us.”
He currently shares his love of cobra cuts and other XCM on Instagram as @cardistry_unc.
